Reliance on physical and cognitive activity of the baby in the first year of his life a key provision of the "Prague parent-infant programme" (PEKiP), which since the mid 70-ies of XX century was widely spread and still is successfully used in different countries. The first edition of the book "PEKiP: play and movement" appeared in 1993 and became a bestseller in Germany.
