'Resolutions as Legal Transactions' Notwithstanding a great need for resolutions as legal instruments of collective bodies in making decisions, a general codified resolution framework does not exist in Germany. Due to the similar legal situation in France, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, this study develops a harmonising legal doctrine of resolutions in collective bodies such as supervisory boards, shareholders' and creditors' meetings and presents its 43 theses in German and English.

Dominik Skauradszun studierte in Tübingen (Erste juristische Staatsprüfung), Saarbrücken und Kaiserslautern (LL.M. Taxation) und legte die Zweite juristische Staatsprüfung in Stuttgart ab. In Tübingen wurde er mit einer verfahrensrechtlichen Arbeit promoviert. Mit der Schrift 'Der Beschluss als Rechtsgeschäft' habilitierte er sich in Bielefeld (Lehrbefugnis für Bürgerliches Recht, Zivilverfahrens-, Insolvenz- und Gesellschaftsrecht). Dominik Skauradszun war zunächst als Rechtsanwalt tätig, sodann als Richter in Baden-Württemberg. Seit 2014 hat er die Professur für Bürgerliches Recht, Zivilverfahrensrecht und Wirtschaftsrecht, insb. Unternehmensrecht an der Hochschule Fulda inne.
